Demand Congress Challenge Electoral College Votes on January 6, 2021

On January 6, 2021, Congress will meet to certify the presidential election during a Joint Session of Congress. Federal law provides for an objection to be raised during this process. The objection must be declared in writing by a House member and signed by at least one senator for any particular state as an attempt to prevent certification. This procedure has been employed several times throughout history, including an attempt made by Representative Maxine Waters in 2017 to block the certification of President Donald Trump.

White House trade adviser Peter Navarro issued a blistering 36-page report earlier this month which asserts that voter irregularities and election fraud have been found in “more than sufficient” quantities to swing the election to President Donald Trump.  This report, in combination with evidence presented at public hearings in Georgia, Arizona, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin, provide ample evidence for members of Congress to challenge the 2020 election results.
